Kerala Kothamara (Cluster Beans) Thoran
These beans are easily available in Kerala and most of the houses grow it at their garden. For Keralites thoran and mezhuvartis are important part of lunch whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian menu. Thoran is like a side dish with rice and can be prepared with any vegetables like cabbage carrot any beans. I am not a big fan of this vegetable as it has a bit bitterness in it. But my mom used to prepare this for my brother as he loved it so much.He was so obsessed with this thoran that he used to have it with only curd like thoran raita.
